- 12/14/19 - Congratulations to Brianna Beswick on her graduation!
- 11/8/19 - Our collaborative work with Shreyas Rao group is accepted for publication in Biotechnology and Bioengineering. This work details the development of a 3D biomimetic hydrogel system to study glioblastoma stem cells.
- 10/24/19 - We gratefully acknowledge new internal pilot project funding from the Alabama Life Research Institute (PI: John Kim; Co-PI: Han-A Park) for testing reactive oxygen species generation in metastasizing cancer cells.

- 2/21/19 - Congratulations to Joline Hartheimer for winning the prestigious Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award! "The award honors one man and one woman of this academic year’s graduating class as well as one non-student. The recipients of the award have demonstrated the highest standards of scholarship, leadership, and service," and is considered "to be the highest honor the University offers, and is recognized nation wide."
